Monster Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Monster Beverage Corporation is an American beverage company that manufactures energy drinks including Monster Energy, Relentless, and Burn. The company was originally founded as Hansen's in 1935 in Southern California, originally selling juice products. The company renamed itself as Monster Beverage in 2012, and then sold their Hansen's juices and sodas and their other non-energy drink brands to The Coca-Cola Company in 2015.

Monster energy drinks are to use with extreme caution, the following piece by Daniel J. DeNoon explains why, "The FDA is investigating reports of five deaths and a nonfatal heart attack in people who drank high-caffeine energy drinks made by the Monster Energy Company. Meanwhile, a Maryland couple has filed a wrongful death suit against the company, alleging that their product killed their 14-year-old daughter. They say Anais Fournier, 14, collapsed after drinking her second 24-ounce Monster Energy drink in two days. She died six days later."

Chief Logical Officer (Former Employee) says

"Business as usual for this place. Throw money at unvetted and unwanted products from an outdated and uneducated product team. They need to fire all the PMs and hire Digital Producers to get anywhere close to a very low bar. Lots of egos who think they work at a Fortune 500 company. Misplaced directive and pretty sure it will go all e-commerce and dissolve into Randstad. Marketing and sales are doomed and creative was gutted. The put all their money in the most incapable group of narcissists. Cons: Totally living in a bubble where a 25 year old broken tech search engine is still relevant."

The training is a waste of time. Too much gossip"

Account Manager (Current Employee) says

"This used to be an awesome place to work. Then the truth was revealed. Quotas have tripled in four years while compensation has remained stagnant. Only members of a certain clique get promoted, which doesn't matter now bc there are as many managers and leads as team members. The products are failing to keep up with the market, the competition delivers better results for lower costs, and there is little marketing suppport. The C-Level suite is so arrogant that they won't do television advertisements because "we are an established brand". So is K-Mart but no one shops there either. Ever heard of Ford, Coke, or Target? All advertise and all are much better know brands. The company Kool-Aid must contain sedatives. Cons: Benefits are costly, pay is low, commissions are non existent . Managers are clueless bullies"

"I worked at Monster Worldwide full-time for more than 3 years Cons: Low Pay - no Bonuses or raises - closings of offices and layoffs every year or so. People always walking on eggshells when higher management comes in and never knows when it will amount to more layoffs. Not a safe environment. Its not how talented and dedicated you are but who you know that keeps your job. "Too many chiefs and not enough Indians "as the saying goes."

"I worked at Monster Worldwide full-time for more than a year Cons: There is an internal war going on within the ELT. Personal egos are taking over instead of what's best for the company. Doesn't care about furthering anyone's career other than his own. Loves to antagonize people and loves to try and talk down to people. Also the company is a dying brand. "I have been working at Monster Worldwide full-time for more than 10 years Cons: executive team is absolutely terrible. They are running the company into the ground but that doesn't stop them from lavish spend, European travel, multiple layers of management, and continual layoffs of low-level employees while they all get paid nicely and congratulate themselves for "turning around" this sinking ship. Think Marie Antoinette... "let them eat cake" is exactly how this organization is run. We all know what happened to her in the end, right?"

People are already going through a lot during this pandemic and to scam someone into believing that you are going to hire them once you turn over important information. Please be advised."

Tom says
